We require customers to provide us with adequate parking. In most cases we leave the unit on your driveway.
If this is not possible, please reserve space on your street near your property - please advise neighbours that you will need access, and use your own car to block the space if necessary. Our units do require a few car lengths of maneuvering space.
If you live in an area with residents only or metered parking, you will need to contact your local council for a "parking exception", or pay the meter charges yourself.
At all times the parking of the storage unit is the clients responsibility, if we get a ticket, the cost of this is passed on to the client.
Question 22 - What time will my unit arrive?
Customers will be advised by text message the evening before their delivery of an accurate delivery time.
Please note, however, that drivers may be held up due to unforseen circumstances, for example heavy traffic, and may arrive slightly later than expected.
If this does happen, our driver will call you and keep you informed. For this reason we do ask our customers not to arrange their storage for the day of completion on a house sale.
Question 23 - Will anyone else be allowed access to my unit?
If you wish to allow friends, family members or a third party access to your unit(s), we will require permission from you confirming this.
Please note that for your protection, Kelly's will require suitable proof of identity from the person accessing the unit(s), or else they will be turned away.
Question 24 - Will the unit be exposed to the weather?
Our units are kept inside our purpose built warehouses at all times.
Whilst in store, we will only remove a unit from our warehouse should a customer require access (in which case access takes place under cover). At no times will any unit be left exposed to the weather.
Full care is taken to ensure our warehouse provides a safe, secure and clean environment for your goods.
Question 30 - I have one heavy item, will the driver give me a hand with it?
Delivery drivers are not permitted to assist customers with the loading or unloading of any unit.
They are often very busy, and are not insured to assist you. If you do require assistance, please enquire about our "Loading Service".
